#11 Javanese

Javanese is mainly spoken in the central and eastern parts of the island of Java, in Indonesia. It’s an Austronesian language, and is spoken by 84.4 million people in 3 countries.

The Concise Encyclopedia of Languages of the World states:

Javanese is the only language of Western Indonesia to possess a distinction between dental and retroflex phonemes.
